Standard Consultation: $220 per 50 minute consultation paid through bank transfer. Details will be provided prior to the first appointment.

Medicare Rebates: Holders of a current Mental Healthcare Plan (MHCP) through the Better Access Medicare Scheme are eligible to receive a Medicare rebate of $136.35 per session for up to 10 session per calendar year. To gain a MHCP you will need to be assessed by your local GP.

Private Health Insurance: Some private health insurers provide cover for psychological support. If you have a current cover for private health insurance, you may be able to cover some or all of the fee depending on your plan.

WPATH Assessments: WPATH Assessments are charged at the standard consultation rate and do not incur a fee for the report. There are usually 4-6 sessions required for a WPATH assessment, however depending on circumstances this may result in fewer or additional sessions.

Cancellation Policy: At Zest Counselling and Psychology we are aware that sometimes things pop up in life that make it difficult to attend appointments. If you need to cancel your appointment for any reason, please do so at your earliest convenience. If you cancel your appointment within 24 hours (one business day), you will incur a cancellation fee of $110 to be paid within the next 24 hours.

If you fail to attend your appointment without notice, you will incur the full fee of the appointment and this will not be claimable via Medicare or private health insurance.

When you confirm an appointment, you reserve a full 50 minute time slot specifically for you. Giving notice of your inability to make the appointment allows enough time to offer the appointment to another person.
